Todo Redwood Park was also used after the WW11 for; Refugees and displaced people who came to New Zealand in from 1946-1965. Living in the cabins, until they could move on from there – with jobs and houses. We had a lot of the children going to Swanson School at the time from the park. [Dawn Ellis]
