The dwelling at 731 Swanson Road comprises an 1870’s single storey, gable roofed, timber weatherboard house with 4 light sash windows, and a front verandah. The house is associated with the early development of the area.
The core of the house is representative of simple weatherboard houses of the area. The fibrolite addition detracts from its overall significance.
