Waipareira Sawing Station

The first sawing station on this site was already operating in the 1860s. On page 16 of the 2006 Holding Dam Site report is a mortgagee sale advert for the station from 1864. It details the specific allotment the sawing station is on (Allotment 10, Parish of Waipareira). This is the nearly 50ha rectangle of land shown in the images. Read more...
